Reading Farmers’ Market is a friendly, twice-a-month event, showcasing fantastic local food and drink, direct from the producers. Come and have a chat and discover the stories behind the products.
Every market features local fruit and vegetables, high welfare meat, fish and eggs, fresh baked goods and more. In addition to the regulars there are several seasonal and ad hoc sellers. For a full list of who will be at each market, follow Reading Farmers’ Market on Facebook or sign up to the mailing list.
The market is held under cover at the old cattle market on Great Knollys Street. It’s a short walk from the station and the town centre. It’s just £1 per hour to park at the nearby Cattle Market car park on Saturdays and there is metred on-street parking directly outside.
