At Como en Casa I aim to replicate some of the flavours I grew up with in Argentina as well as cook some yummy recipes known worldwide.
Empanadas (savoury pasties) which we usually have for dinner but also make a wonderful snack. Can be eaten cold or reheated in the oven once taken home.
Alfajores (a layer of smooth dulce de leche sandwiched between two sweet soft biscuits) are the most common childhood snack and are ideal for that sweet craving. They come in different shapes and finishes depending on the time of year (with a dust of coconut, coated in chocolate and decorated for special occasions).
Sweet tarts that will make a nice addition for your afternoon cuppa.
I cater for small parties too offering a mix of Argentine and British dishes.
