Reading Steady Cook: Take the Challenge at Reading Farmers' Market - Saturday 16th April.

 

Reading Steady Cook Heat 2010Reading UK CIC are looking for contestants to take part in the 2011 Reading Steady Cook competition, open to local amateur cooks. Reading Farmers' Market was pleased to be able to host one of the heats last year and will be hosting one of the heats for this year's competition on Saturday 16th April.

 

In the competition you have 30 minutes to create a meal from quality ingredients costing no more than £7.50, in front of an audience of friends and foodies. Dishes will be judged by a panel of local experts including top chefs and food writers. Winners of the local heats will be invited to take part in the ‘Cook-Off’ on stage at this year’s EAT READING LIVE, with the chance to win a fantastic foodie prize!
