Farewell to Newbury Market Manager

Newbury Farmers’ market’s popular manager, Alex Farrow, is leaving us this summer after nearly a year successfully managing the market. He brought fresh ideas and a unique way of advertising each market – cycling around the Newbury area dressed as a chicken!

Alex will be sadly missed and we wish him well as he will be starting teacher training this September. A farewell presentation was held to mark his departure at the last Newbury market.

We would like to welcome our new Newbury Market Manager, Jack MacLeod, who will also be taking over the running of our Purley market. Jack is keen to get local community involvement in our markets.

A presentation was made to Alex by several of the TVFMC directors and members at the last Newbury market.
